Epsom Downs Farm and Garden
Farm
The farm at Epsom Downs Community School has a variety of animals including a small group of Guinea Pigs, some chickens, two pigs and two goats. We also have a rescue tortoise called Terry who lives for a large part of the year in an enclosure in the orangery.
The children are very involved with the animals and work hard every afternoon during Farm Enrichment to ensure all our animals are well looked after. The farm is a valuable asset used by the whole school.
We are always in need of wellies for children who go up to the farm so if you have a clear out please could you think of us before binning any welly boots?
We also need volunteers to help with the animals on a weekend rota. If you would like to be a farmer every so often please contact the school office on 01737 354313 and Tracy Longhurst our Animal TA will be in touch.

Garden
The garden at Epsom Downs forms an important part of our outdoor curriculum. We have a biodome, an allotment with two large greenhouses and four main growing areas, an orchard, a sensory garden and Jane Ireland's quiet garden.
